About the programme
Civil Engineering covers the planning, design, construction, maintenance and management of infrastructure and the built environment. This four-year B.E. programme pairs analytical training with field work.
Students study structural engineering, construction materials, concrete technology, geotechnical engineering, surveying, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, structural analysis, building services and construction management, including surveying camps and site visits.
Hands-on learning
Practical work runs beside the theory in every semester. These are the laboratories and workshops supporting Civil Engineering.

Admissions
A pass in 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and a qualifying mark as prescribed by Anna University and the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education.
