Building the engineers of tomorrow

Mechanical Engineering is the broadest of the engineering disciplines, and the one that underpins almost every other. The four-year B.E. programme at Maria College of Engineering & Technology is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Students build comprehensive knowledge across machine design, manufacturing technology, thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, automobile engineering, robotics, industrial engineering, mechatronics and advanced production systems. Classroom teaching is paired throughout with laboratory experiments, workshop practice, industrial training, internships, design projects, mini projects and a major final-year project.

Admissions

Eligibility and how to apply

A pass in 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and a qualifying mark as prescribed by Anna University and the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education.

Admission is through the counselling and allotment process notified by the Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University, together with the management quota permitted under the applicable regulations. Our admissions team will explain which route applies to you and what it involves.
