Power, electronics and innovation

Electrical and Electronics Engineering sits at the centre of the energy transition. This four-year B.E. programme covers electrical engineering, electronics, automation, power systems and the emerging technologies changing how power is generated, moved and used.

The syllabus spans electrical circuits, electrical machines, power systems, power electronics, control systems, electrical measurements, digital electronics, microcontrollers, embedded systems, renewable energy, smart grids and electric mobility. Laboratory experiments, workshops, industrial visits, internships, technical training and project work run alongside the theory throughout.

Eligibility and how to apply

A pass in 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and a qualifying mark as prescribed by Anna University and the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education.

Admission is through the counselling and allotment process notified by the Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University, together with the management quota permitted under the applicable regulations. Our admissions team will explain which route applies to you and what it involves.
