Advanced structural analysis and design

This two-year M.E. programme develops advanced capability in the analysis, design, construction and maintenance of structural systems, for graduates intending to practise as structural designers or consultants.

Study covers advanced structural analysis, reinforced concrete design, steel structure design, earthquake engineering, structural dynamics, finite element methods, advanced concrete technology, structural rehabilitation, bridge engineering and computational structural analysis, concluding with a substantial dissertation.

Eligibility and how to apply

A B.E / B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline from Anna University or an institution recognised as equivalent, with the minimum marks prescribed by Anna University.

Admission is through the counselling and allotment process notified by the Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University, together with the management quota permitted under the applicable regulations. Our admissions team will explain which route applies to you and what it involves.
