About the programme
This two-year M.E. programme covers the analysis, planning, operation, control, protection and management of modern electrical power systems.
Study covers advanced power system analysis, stability, protection and control, high voltage engineering, power quality, power electronics, renewable energy, distributed generation, smart grids, energy management and electrical drives, supported by computer simulation work and a dissertation.
Hands-on learning
Practical work runs beside the theory in every semester. These are the laboratories and workshops supporting Power Systems Engineering.

Admissions
A B.E / B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline from Anna University or an institution recognised as equivalent, with the minimum marks prescribed by Anna University.
