About the programme
This two-year M.E. programme covers power electronic converters, electrical drives, control systems and energy-efficient technologies, with strong relevance to electric mobility and renewable integration.
Study covers power semiconductor devices, controlled rectifiers, DC-DC converters, inverters, resonant converters, electric drives, advanced motor control, digital control, power quality, renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, industrial automation and energy management.
Hands-on learning
Practical work runs beside the theory in every semester. These are the laboratories and workshops supporting Power Electronics and Drives.

Admissions
A B.E / B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline from Anna University or an institution recognised as equivalent, with the minimum marks prescribed by Anna University.
